Ask the Author–Cats or Dogs?

I guess just because you are asking an author a question, it doesn’t mean it has to be about writing. This question is about a topic that has divided citizens of this world for ages. (Perhaps that’s an exaggeration, but people definitely have their opinion on this one.) And the question is… (Drum roll, please) Are you a cat person, or a dog person?

I like both cats and dogs just fine, but in reality, I’m neither. I’m a bird person. I love birds. Perhaps that is a bit obvious since Aviandria is kind of known for its birds. I have grown up around birds, and I continue to live with birds. Currently, I live with a quaker parrot (whom you’ve seen pictures of at one point in a previous post), four little budgerigars (known as parakeets to most of us in the US), three ducks, and two chickens. The ducks and chickens don’t live in the house, except my rooster did stay in the garage for a little while because he got attacked by a dog and couldn’t be with the others until he was done healing. I also live with a leopard gecko, who is very quiet and sleeps during the day. However, if I had to choose between dogs and cats, I’d probably go with dogs, though I have nothing against cats.
