Ask the Author–What are you going to do to celebrate your 200th Post?

Today I’m giving myself a pat on the back. This will be the 200th post I have written. And after that many posts, I find myself wondering if I haven’t already written everything there is to write. But of course, I haven’t, so I plan on continuing. Admittedly, it is getting harder to figure out what to write, but that’s what creativity is for, so here goes. This time, the question for the Auther is (and yes, I know it’s obvious I asked myself this one) What are you going to do to celebrate your 200th post?

The real answer to this is, probably nothing. I don’t really have lots of extra time to celebrate things like this, and I’m just boring. However, if life were different, and I had all the time and resources in the world to celebrate things like this, here is what I might do.

• Take the afternoon (or morning; I’m not picky) off and not worry about dishes, laundry, or anything like that. I would read a really good book and go on a walk, and maybe do something crafty.
• I would let myself have a treat. Maybe something chocolate, or ice cream, or pie with lots of whipped cream.
• Call a good friend and brag about the accomplishment and humbly accept any congratulations they may give me. Then we would reminisce and talk about our favorite posts. (This would be assuming I actually had a good friend that actually read any of these. Unfortunately, my friends all have busy lives like I do and don’t get to do fun things like read my posts.)
