Blast from the Past–Paperdoll Project

When I was much, much younger, one of my favorite things was paperdolls. I would play with them with my friends or my sister for hours. Sometimes, the paperdolls lacked the outfits I believed they should have for my games. I learned how to make them the outfits my imagination dictated. Eventually, my mind came up with characters I didn’t have a paperdoll for. So I found myself making my own. I guess I’m still a kid at heart, because every once in a while, I still have fun doing the same thing. I guess it was inevitable that two of my favorite ways to create eventually would merge. So now, I have paperdolls of the three most prominant characters in my Aviandrian books.

I guess some people might think I’m crazy to still make paperdolls, but it’s fun. Besides, isn’t it healthy to let your inner child out once in a while? I think it is.
