Simplified Summer Series–Ask the Author: Would You Rather…

This post is going to be a quick one. Summer is winding down. Last month before it feels like fall. I know fall doesn’t really officially start until closer to the end of September, but it really feels like summer is over at the start of September. It makes more sense. But, on to the question. The question for today is: Would you rather keep writing in the same series or story world, or move to something unrelated?

I guess my answer would have to be, a bit of both. I’m really attached to Aviandria, and although I don’t plan to write any further novels about Ashlynn and her friends after the trilogy is done, I have other story ideas for that world. On the other hand, I also have ideas for things entirely unrelated to Aviandria that I would like to explore sometime. So I’m not sure I can really choose. Right now, my mind is deeply in Aviandria though, so I’ll probably stick with that for a little while.

When reading, would you rather stick with a world or series you like, or branch out more?
