Back With Fun Reading Activities!–Something to do at home

It has seriously been FOREVER!!! Things are crazy right now, but since there are so many people stuck at home, I wanted to do something to help ease the boredom and worry. I’ve decided every day (or every other day–I can’t promise to be perfect) I’ll try to post a fun activity to do based on books you’ve read. Obviously, it would be awesome if you did them with one of the Aviandria books, but these can be done with any books. Honestly, they could probably be done with movies too, but since reading is awesome, I’m just going to pretend it’s just books.

The first one is…

What If Characters Switched Places?

What if the main character from one of your favorite books switched places with the main character from one of your other favorite books?

I’ll give you an example from some of my favorite books. I chose Sir Percival Blakney from The Scarlet Pimpernel and Sherlock Holmes. I think there is a chance that some things could work out. They are both masters of disguise, and they are both pretty smart (though one doesn’t act like it in public). The thing that would, perhaps, really make it different is that Sherlock Holmes doesn’t have any time or interest in romance, where the entire plot line of The Scarlet Pimpernel is based strongly on romance. Also, while they are both very knowledgable about human nature, Sherlock Holmes uses his to solve mysteries, and Sir Percy isn’t as interested in mysteries as simply saving people, but he might try to solve mysteries if he thought he would get some good adventure. I think Sherlock Holmes would be willing to save people if he had a good enough reason, but it would have to intrigue him somehow. I guess what I mean to say is, it could work if they wanted it to, but I don’t know how much they’d want it to.

What characters did you pick, and how do you think it would turn out? Leave your answer in the comments below and/or share them in my Facebook group.
