Melon Boats–An Aviandrian Tradition
Everyone needs something fun to do while cooling down in the summer. It’s no different in Aviandria. Here is something the kids around Aviandria like to do for fun.
A common activity for kids in Aviandria are melon boat races. The scoop out the inside of a melon (any melon with a mostly stiff rind works) and then they take them to a stream or river and race them. Some places schedule big community races. Other times, just a few kids will do it for fun. It’s both a tasty snack and a way to have fun and stay cool in the water.
